CADA Workforce Study enrollment deadline extended to March 15
March 4, 2024
For dealerships, getting the labour picture right is the key to success.
Attracting, recruiting, and retaining the top talent is such a key challenge and opportunity for dealerships. That’s why having a clearer snapshot of how the labour market is changing and understanding current wages and benefits across a broad range of dealership positions is invaluable.
To that end, CADA is investing in creating the 2024 CADA Workforce Study, a national study of payroll data that gets aggregated to present a clear snapshot of labour market trends, nationally and in each province. But the study’s value is directly connected to the number of dealers that participate.
“As with any study, the bigger the sample size, the better the results,” said Tim Reuss, CADA’s President and CEO. “That’s why we extended the enrollment deadline by two weeks to March 15. We want everyone to take part so that data is that much better for everyone.”
All dealers need to do to sign up is visit: cadaworkforcestudy.com/ and enroll. Then they have until April 1, 2024 to anonymously and confidentially upload their payroll data. It’s an easy process that can often be done automatically through a dealership’s payroll system.
“An added bonus for dealers that do submit their data, is they get access to the national report, but also to data from their region, which might be more relevant than only looking at national figures,” said Brigette Goldenshtein, CADA’s Communications Coordinator, and the project lead for the study. “It’s important to note that the information shared is confidential and protected. The data is aggregated and no information about any individual dealership or group will be shared.”
Dealers who have any questions about how to participate and upload their data can contact Goldenshtein at: [email protected], or they can contact the Workforce Study IT Support at [email protected]. CADA can also share an easy-to-follow video that shows dealers how to upload their payroll data.
