More critical than ever to fill out 2020 DSI survey
October 13th, 2020
Canadian automobile retailers have experienced an unprecedented year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with many dealers operating under a “new normal” that combines social distancing, digital retail sales, and protective personal equipment (PPE) as part of their everyday environment.
As CADA prepares to conduct its annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Survey, it has become more critical than ever for manufacturers to receive dealer feedback, according to Bonnie Wasser, Industry Relations Manager at CADA.
“The DSI survey is a key diagnostic tool that serves as a relationship barometer, helping to keep manufacturer and dealer operations working successfully. It is now more important than ever for dealers to provide their feedback on the survey to help their manufacturers understand their unique challenges,” said Wasser, adding that, “To better understand today’s business realities, we have added a section to this year’s survey regarding dealer experience with their manufacturers related to the COVID-19 crisis.”
Dealers have from October 27 to December 3 to fill out the 2020 DSI survey, and will receive secure individual survey access links for each store on October 27. If dealers do not receive their survey access links or have questions regarding the survey, they should email [email protected] and Industry Relations staff will assist them.
Wasser also reminds dealers that the higher the response rate, the more accurate and meaningful the data becomes for dealers and manufacturers — particularly with the newly added section relating to the pandemic. “We thank them in advance for taking the time to complete the DSI Survey,” said Wasser.
